We had pretty significant calcium buildup along the water line on our pool tile and rock waterfall. I contacted American Surface Pros, Heidi was great to work with on the quote and scheduling. The crew showed up on time, did a fantastic job, and were very knowledgeable and curious.

Cement planter area was vandalized with graffiti. Called American Surface pros and they came out within a couple of hours. Their work was top notch from prep to final clean up.

We needed an experienced abrasive blasting contractor to provide a lightly textured surface to our new concrete pool deck, and we were pleased that we found American Surface Pros and its owner, Doug. We were anxious while we anticipated this work because it can only be done once, but at the start of the project, Doug arrived with his crew and didn’t depart the site until he was sure the work was being executed to our specifications. The crew was competent, careful, and detailed. They took their time evenly blasting 1600 SQFT of deck, and the result was precisely what we sought. All work was performed according to CARB minimum requirements, which was important to us. Doug is professional, fair, and accountable, and we recommend his company, American Surface Pros, to anyone wishing to perform similar work.

We contacted American Surface Pros (ASP) to have our tongue and groove pitched pine ceiling resurfaced, removing 40 year old yellowed varnish and dark paint. I was impressed that the owner drove from his shop up to our property in the foothills (couple of hours) to ensure that his estimate was accurate, saving nasty surprises after work is completed. After we accepted his bid. They were able to schedule us quickly. He and his team showed up early on the scheduled day and worked full days, completing the job promptly. This was appreciated as we are living in the home while work was being done. His team was professional and hard working. Sand blasting is never a clean job inside a home, but they did as much as they could to contain the dust in the area of the ceiling, as well as clean up the area when they were done. Considering the time and effort it would have taken us to sand this on our own, the cost and 3 days of life disruption was worth it. American Surface Pros did an excellent job blasting my 100 year old barn beams! Doug the owner came out to do a test blast to make sure it was what I wanted, they looked fantastic so we scheduled to do them all! Doug and his crew were very kind, professional and took utmost care in their work. And they are mobile so no need to lug around your items. For me that would have been 6 10’ long heavy duty beams!! This company was great! They were quick, affordable and did a great job sandblasting our pool tiles. The blue tiles had gotten what seems to be a white hard water stain on them. Now they are a vibrant blue again. I highly recommend them.

First time using this company and they did a great job removing the white calcium rim around our pool. Price was reasonable and would recommend them to anyone with the same issue.

After building a pond/waterfall 5 years ago, the calcium build up had turned the the beautiful blue glass tile into a clouded mess. Researching a company to remove it was cost prohibited on the company's I called. I was about to live with it but last on my list was American Surface Pros. Doug came out and gave us a bid that was very affordable and much lower then I had been quoted. Being retired, we have to be very careful on allocated funds. We were very happy with the price and had them come out. The result was the glass tile looked like it was brand new. The guys that came out were very professional and very nice. On the one to ten scale, they were defiantly a giant TEN.

My pool was beautiful except for the annoying calcium deposits. Doug and his professional team came to tackle the job. Their skill and persistence erased all unsightly mineral deposits. They were determined to find solutions to my problem. Now, my pool is outstanding and looks like new.

I called Surface Pros because my pool has a terrible ring of calcium buildup. I had tried scrubbing and chipping but nothing worked. American Surface Pros made my 20 year old pool look like brand new! The quality of work was awesome. Regarding pricing, I called a few companies and American Surface pros was very fair by comparison. I won’t hesitate to recommend Doug and his company to anyone looking for a “job well done”. I had a pair of 8’ high vintage cedar columns that needed a total, but delicate, removal of 50 years worth of white paint…a job that had intimidated the three other companies and wood workers I had called. Not only did Doug not hang up on me when I asked if the job was possible, he came right out to inspect and said he thought it could be done without damaging the beautiful wood grain under all that paint. He was fast, responsive and his process and talent was amazing as was his cleanup after the fact.
